Our collection includes hundreds of vintage photos, original documents dating back to the late 1880s, high school year books, and a multitude of artifacts including a 1907 hand-pulled fire wagon and a cow bell used at the John Daly dairy. Our archives house historic documents, news clippings, maps, aerial photos, scrapbooks etc. available to researchers. Framed, captioned photos line the walls in the Gillespie Room, oversized pictures of iconic images hang in the main gallery, and a centerpiece timeline exhibit offers a self-led tour through 12,000 years of local history. Our collection is always growing from donations of artifacts and documents related to Daly City history. (Click on the photos to enlarge them.)
